About Living Water School of Ministry

Living Water School of Ministry (LWSOFM) was established in 1998 by Dr. Yvonne Sanders, in obedience to the divine mandate she received from the Lord: “Go Teach My People Faith.”

The school was birthed out of Dr. Sanders’ desire to “teach and train people for the work of the ministry, for the perfecting of the saints, till we all come in the unity of the faith” (Ephesians 4:12–13). Having been richly equipped during her time at Rhema Bible Training College, she carried the same life-changing Word of Faith teaching back to the Southeast region. Her vision was to make these treasures of God’s Word accessible to those who could not relocate to Oklahoma or afford to uproot their families, ensuring that men and women here could still be thoroughly trained for ministry.

For more than two decades, LWSOFM has faithfully carried out this calling. In 2023, the school received accreditation by the Transworld Accrediting Commission International (TACI)—the same body that accredits prestigious institutions such as Oral Roberts University, Rhema Bible Training College, Charis Bible College, and Kenneth Copeland Bible Institute. In 2024–2025, the school joyfully celebrated its 25th Anniversary, a milestone that refects God’s faithfulness to the vision.

The fruit of this ministry reaches far beyond the classroom. Graduates of LWSOFM have established churches and ministries, and preached the gospel throughout the United States, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Africa. Lives have been transformed, leaders have been raised up, and the Spirit of Faith has spread through generations of students.

Leadership of the school was faithfully carried by Dr. Yvonne Sanders as Founder and President until her move to heaven in August 2025. At that time, leadership transitioned to Dr. Samuel D. Sanders, who now serves as President, continuing the vision with fresh momentum and expanded reach.

Today, LWSOFM is preparing to launch a Bachelor’s Program while strengthening its impact through the newly established Living Water School of Ministry Ministerial Association (LWSOFMMA). In its inaugural year, 16 graduates joined this association, which now serves as a hub for ministers to unite, grow, and carry forward the vision: to raise up believers who are full of the Word, the Spirit, and the Fire.

Here at LWSOFM, we emphasize what the Apostle Paul told Timothy: “The things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2). What you receive here is not just for you—it is for generations to come. The nations are waiting for the deposit of Christ in you!

As you give yoursel to the study of God’s Word, expect the Spirit of God to unveil truth, ignite your faith, and shape your destiny. “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).

Dr. Mary Yvonne Sanders was a native of Walterboro, South Carolina and faithfully served the Lord for 39 years, ministering and carrying the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the southeastern United States and beyond.

Dr. Sanders was a graduate of South Carolina State University, earning a degree in Accounting with six hours toward her MBA, and she was also a graduate of Rhema Bible Training College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, founded by the late Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin. In recognition of her impact in ministry and the community, she received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the School of Bible Theology Seminary & University (SBTSU), awarded by President Dr. Stephen T. Anderson and nominated by her pastors and Dr. Jerry Savelle.

Dr. Sanders faithfully served as Founder and President of Living Water School of Ministry until her homegoing in August 2025. Through her obedience to the Lord’s instruction, the school has trained and equipped ministers, pastors, and leaders who continue to carry the message of faith and the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.

Today, Living Water School of Ministry continues to build upon the foundation she established as the school prepares to launch a Bachelor’s Program and strengthens its network of ministers through the Living Water School of Ministry Ministerial Association (LWSOFMMA).

The central focus of Dr. Yvonne Sanders’ life and ministry was to equip believers with the Word of God and raise up laborers for the harvest. Her prayer was to present one million souls to the Lord Jesus Christ through her life and ministry.

Her legacy lives on through the students she trained, the ministers she raised up, and the Spirit of Faith that continues to flow through Living Water School of Ministry.
